EFs cannot place orders until the Written Agreement, Acknowledgement of Responsibilities, iLEAD Exploration Agreements form (including the Community Provider and Family Service Agreement and Learner/Family Guidebook), and High-Risk form (as applicable) are signed by the learner and parent/guardian.
Who do the materials purchased with instructional funds belong to?
All materials purchased with instructional funds are the property of iLEAD Hybrid Exploration and must be returned to the school when a learner leaves our program. For more info about instructional funds and how they work, please see Learner/Family Guidebook.
All materials purchased with instructional funds are the property of iLEAD Exploration and are loaned to enrolled students for their educational use only. Upon graduation or withdrawal, materials must be returned to your EF within three business days. Materials are not available for purchase from the school when a learner leaves iLEAD, however, families will be billed for any items not returned, including consumable materials that are still usable.
What happens if materials are lost, damaged, stolen, or not returned to iLEAD?
If items are lost, stolen, damaged, or not returned to the school, you will be responsible for the original costs of those items. If any item ordered by the school for instructional use is lost or broken by a learner, the family must pay to replace the item.
There is a problem with my materials order. Should I contact the material provider to let them know?
No, do not contact material providers directly. Any issues/concerns/questions regarding your orders should be addressed through your Educational Facilitator (EF).
I do not like the materials we ordered. Can they be returned to the provider so we can use those instructional funds on something else?
No, there will be no returns, refunds, or cancellations. Discuss your goals and expectations with your EF before submitting any order requests to ensure that the materials being ordered are appropriate for your learner.
Can I use instructional funds to pay for team sports, memberships, uniforms, testing and/or assessment fees for classes/tutoring?
No, as stated in the Community Provider and Family Service Agreement, instructional funds cannot be used to pay for team sports fees, memberships, uniforms, testing and/or assessment fees for classes/tutoring.
Why are monthly box subscriptions no longer available?
To reduce shipping issues/delays and to get materials to your learner sooner, monthly box/crate subscriptions are no longer allowed. Most providers who offer monthly subscriptions also offer individual boxes and/or bundle options so you will still be able to order these educational materials, but they will be shipped all at once instead of monthly. The benefits of this are fewer packages to track and the opportunity to have the learner's materials on hand for more convenient lesson planning with your EF. To see what options are available from these providers, please use the Community Provider Search Tool to find additional information. If you have any questions, please contact your EF.
