Q: Can I credit more courses than I need?
A: Yes, you can. These credits will reflect on your grade sheet.
Q:When will the assessments be done?
A: The assessments are of many types, continuous (throughout the course), assignments (throughout the course), paper presentations, tests or exams etc. The method of assessment is selected by the instructors for each course. All assessments will be done latest by December 18th.
Q: Can I go for conferences or meetings during the coursework?
A: This is generally not encouraged. If you need to leave inspite of the guidelines, you will have to take permission from each of the instructors whose classes you will be missing. Please make sure you will not miss an important assignment or deadline because of your break.
Q: What happens if I fail a course in the coursework?
A: You will need 6+2+6 credits from level 1+2+3 respectively. If you fail a compulsory course, then you need to pass it through a re-test or repeat the course next year.
Q: Can I take a challenge exam for a course being offered instead of attending the classes?
A: In cases where assessment is not based on in-class participation and is solely based on the final exam, a challenge exam may be offered. Discuss with the instructor.
more to come.... as you send in questions, I will add them here.
