Content description:

Students will learn how to introduce themselves ( name, age, nationality, school, grade, colours and favorite etc). Then, they will extend this knowledge by introducing the above aspects of their family members and friends.

Knowledge, Skills and Process

At the end of this unit, students will be able to:

· Student will provide basic information on “Me” and introduce oneself.

· Describe one’s physical appearance.

· Introduce the extended family members: 爸爸, 妈妈, 哥哥, 姐姐, 弟弟, 妹妹, 爷爷, 奶奶

· Answer topic-related questions

· Understand and follow class instructions

· Interview and introduce a friend

· Name different countries, colors and body parts

· Retell simple stories in Chinese

· Comprehend simple stories about age, name, school grade & nationality when listening and reading with limited target vocabulary
