The prompts—Choose one of the following. Regardless of the prompt that you pick, you should have a well-developed essay of five or more paragraphs with a thesis to guide the development of the thoughts in the writing.
1. Select an important character who is a villain. Analyze how the author developed multiple elements of this character and the nature of the literary work as a whole. Please do not summarize the plot.
2. Analyze how the author develops the setting or multiple settings to showcase specific values within the literary work. Do not summarize the plot; instead, systematically show how elements of the setting or different settings work to develop a sense of value, characters' values or a message of value to the reader.
3. Show how the author uses specific literary devices to develop a specific theme in the novel. For this prompt, do not merely summarize the plot. Instead, analyze patterns and relationships in the authors' use of (approximately) three specific literary devices and how they work to develop a theme.

Make sure you are using the CK12 advanced book.
Complete at least three parts of Chapters 1-5. Choose the sections most interesting to you. Do the questions in the chapters in a document that is easy to read & share.
Post this document to the Honors part of your DP.
