Learning Strategies courses are open to any identified student who has been recommended to receive intensive support by their teachers. It runs in one semester and is a credited course. Students are encouraged to develop better learning skills through a variety of activities, and the completion of work assigned in other classes.

Demonstrate and explain your personal organizational strategies
Utilize numerous strategies for note-taking, studying, and completing assignments, including effective use of technology
Identify, describe, evaluate and utilize your personal learning style.
Work effectively with others, and demonstrate an appreciation for differing learning styles
Advocate for yourself to others (fellow students, teachers, members of the community) in a positive manner.
Demonstrate strategies to help maintain personal wellness.
Work together with others to develop and articulate opinions, and resolve conflicts positively.
Describe your place in the community and your potential to contribute both now and in the future.
