Homework Policy & Information

Weekly Homework

• Per the district homework policy, the purposes of meaningful homework are:

  • • Practicing a learned skill

    • Valuable extension of learning

    • Developing Essential Outcomes, including good study habits, responsibility, self-discipline and independence.

• 3rd graders should read 30 minutes every night, Monday through Thursday.

• Homework will also include math and a weekly reading response. 

• Homework is due on Fridays. Please reach out to me regarding flexibility and extensions.
