The District has adopted the Twig science curriculum. 3rd graders will focus on the following units of study: 

• The Pet Problem:  Engineering & Investigation

• The Ultimate Playground:  Force & Motion

• Welcome to the Biodome:  Plant and Animal Life Cycles

• How to Survive an Ice Age: Ecosystem Dynamics, Functioning, and Resilience

• Weather Warning HQ:  Weather & Climate

Students will participate in engaging 3-D multi-modal STEM experiences that include:

• Hands-On Labs

• Digital Labs

• STEM Experiences

• Scientific Text Investigations

• Video Investigations
