Science

The District has adopted the Twig science curriculum. We will also supplement with Mystery Science. 

In the 2022-2023 school year we will focus on the following units of study: 

• 0 - Catapult Challenge (Science and Engineering Practices)

• 1 - Egg Racers (Physical Science)

• 2 - Sparks Energy, Inc. (Renewable Energy)

• 3 - Time-Traveling Tour Guides (Earth Science)

In the 2023-2024 school year, the following units will be added:

• 4 - Earthquake Engineering (Earth Science/Physical Science)

• 5 - Super Survivors (Life Science)

Students will:

• participate in individual, group, and teacher-led investigations

• work collaboratively in a hands-on environment

• research and share what they've learned with their peers, utilizing both digital and print mediums
