Advising Office for Undergraduates in the Exploratory Pathways Program

Student Health Services (SHS)
Medical care, comprehensive and confidential sexual and reproductive healthcare, immunizations and tuberculosis (TB) clearance services, physical exams, sports medicine, nutrition consultation, dermatology, psychiatry, and travel medicine. They also have a pharmacy and a laboratory for various on-site diagnostic testing.

For Confidential Personal or Academic Counseling or Career Advice
Counseling and Student Development Center (CSDC)
The CSDC offers support to UH Mānoa students to assist with mental health, personal, or academic concerns. They provide a variety of services to students, including short-term personal counseling, couples and career counseling, workshops, support groups, and peer fellow services. All clinical services are confidential. Individual, couples, and group counseling services are free of charge for Mānoa students. We also offer urgent consultations to faculty and staff on student-related concerns. In addition, psychiatric services and assessment services are available to students for a fee.

For Disabilities Support Services
The KOKUA Program
KOKUA offers services for undergraduate, graduate and professional students with learning, physical, psychiatric and other documented disabilities.
Services include: letters to faculty, exam accommodations, notetaking services, alternate formatting, priority registration, sign language interpretation, mobility-lab-and-library assistance, adapted furniture, classroom relocation, elevator use, and service/assistance animals.

Academic Resource Center (ARC)
The ARC provides services to enhance the student experience in supporting the development of success-oriented strategies to achieve academic goals. A holistic approach is used to facilitate growth and forward movement with academic coaching, tutoring and wellness programs.
ARC gives students access to study rooms and a study lounge, as well as a meditation room. They also offer walk-in tutoring at the Housing Success Center (HSC) nightly from Sunday through Thursday. You can make an appointment on their website or from your STAR GPS.

For Military Veterans
Office of Veteran Student Services (OVSS)
The Office of Veteran Student Services is dedicated to empowering student veterans transitioning from military service to academics. They seek to help student veterans feel valued, respected and equipped to achieve their fullest potential.
They have resources for applying for VA benefits, filling out certification forms, and navigating their work study program, along with many other related topics. Their room in QLC 310 functions as their OVSS lounge with computers, free printing, and a fridge, microwave, and Keurig available for use.
