Insurance

Families who wish to take the Chromebook home are required to pay a $35.00 insurance fee.

The fee will cover:

• minor repairs — under $100

• replacement of 1 lost or damaged power cord

  • in most cases, a loaner while the damaged Chromebook is being repaired

Any damage resulting in repair costs in excess of $100 will be charged the full cost of the Chromebook minus the $35 fee ($225.00).

Families who do not wish to take the Chromebook home may choose to forego the $35.00 insurance fee and students will be required to pick up the Chromebook each morning and return it each evening from the upstairs computer lab.

Families who qualify for free and reduced lunch will have the insurance fee waived.
