Music Program Overview
Performance-based courses, music classes and enrichment activities are open to students of varying levels of musical interest and experience. Concert Band, Chorus and String Orchestra are open to all students in grades 9-12 with basic through advanced skills. Footnotes, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble and Orchestra Winds/Percussion are for advanced students through recommendation and/or audition. Information about each course and activity is described within the various sections of this website. Approximately one third of the students at Hanover High School are enrolled/involved in one or more of these courses/activities.
