Music 7 Instrumental

Music 7 Instrumental is a section of the required Music 7 class wherein students approach the same music standards while learning a concert band instrument. Students are strongly encouraged to continue performing on their instrument within the Concert Band.

This section engages students in the musical processes of creating, performing, responding, and connecting in order to cultivate independent music literacy on a concert band instrument. Emphasis is on reading standard notation, developing a working vocabulary, and an introduction to contemporary music technology.
