“What we have loved, others will love, and we will teach them how; instruct them how the mind of man becomes a thousand times more beautiful than the earth on which he dwells...”
—William Wordsworth, The Prelude
Bio
An alumnus of Hanover Area, I earned my Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Marywood University, and began teaching at my alma mater shortly after. While I've played several instruments from drums to clarinet to tuba, I always return to my primary instrument: voice. I earned a Master of Music degree from Boston University and I maintain memberships in PMEA, NAfME, and MTNA.
Some of my performance achievements are winning the Bass/Baritone First Prize at the Cynonfardd Eisteddfod Singing Competition in Edwardsville, PA, singing as a member of the Arcadia Chorale, and a regional choir which spent a week as Choir-in-Residence at Winchester Cathedral, UK.
