PHYSICAL THERAPY @ GUILDERLAND SCHOOLS

Physical therapists at Guilderland School District work to assist children with disabilities in improving their overall function to help gain optimal independence in the school setting. For example, negotiating stairs safely, focusing on a table top activity with good seated posture, and being independently mobile in the classroom and the school surroundings. Our main goal is for the student to reach their maximum function within the school setting. This may be through consultation with staff and parents, home exercise programs, and/or direct treatment intervention.

We offer this website to provide parents and professionals with informational material to assist at home or in their professional worksite.
