My name is Lee Alba, and I teach Chorus and Guitar at Greer Middle School, as well as serving as the Tri-M Music Honor Society Sponsor. I also serve as the Related Arts Department Chair. This is my 8th year at Greer Middle School, my 9th year back in South Carolina, and my 22nd year teaching! 😮

While I grew up here in the Upstate, my college and career took me to both Florida and Georgia. I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Florida State, Master's Degree at Georgia State, and an Educational Specialist Degree at Furman University.

I began my teaching career teaching band and chorus in Marietta, Georgia, right outside of Atlanta. When I met my husband, I decided to move to Miami, Florida, where I taught before moving back to South Carolina to be near family.

Things to know about me:

• I am a die-hard Florida State Seminoles fan (win or lose).

• I love Summer...give me hot days over cold ones anytime.

• My happy place is at the beach.

• I have an amazing husband, who sometimes gets roped into chaperoning field trips for me. 😉

• Cats, puppies, and cows make me smile. 🐱‍👤🐶🐄

• I love walking and hiking. If I can explore somewhere on foot, I will take that over a car any day!
