Lee Alba - 6th Grade Prelude Chorus

WELCOME TO 6th GRADE PRELUDE CHORUS!!!

This course is a year-long class. We will be learning about the voice and how to sing with good tone, diction, and emotion. Students will be singing music in Unison and 2-Part harmony. This class serves as an introduction class to middle school chorus. Students are expected to attend all required performances, and will be given several optional and auditioned performances throughout the year.

All students enrolled in Prelude Chorus will need to bring a $15 uniform shirt fee by September 24th.

Course Syllabus

The Prelude Chorus is for any 6th grade student interested in chorus . In this class,

students will learn about choral posture, vocal tone, diction, basic music notation, and sing music in

unison and 2-part voicing. Students will read and perform music on a grade 2 level in appropriate ranges.
