Beginning Chorus – 6th and 7thGrade Semester Course:
The beginning chorus class is designed for students coming into middle school and students taking their first middle school chorus class. In this class, students will learn about choral posture, vocal tone, diction, basic music notation, and sing music in unison and 2-parts. At the end of the course, students will be able to read and perform music on a beginning level.

This course is a beginning level semester course in 6th and 7th grades. This course is a pre-requisite for intermediate and advanced chorus. This year we will be learning about the voice and how to sing with good tone, diction, and emotion. Students will be singing music in unison and 2-part harmony.
