WELCOME TO 7th GRADE INTERMEDIATE CHORUS!!!
This course is a year-long class. We will be learning about the voice and how to sing with good tone, diction, and emotion. Students will be singing music in 2-part and SAB harmony. This class continues material covered in beginning chorus. Students are expected to attend all required performances, and will be given several optional and auditioned performances throughout the year.
All students enrolled in Intermediate Chorus are required to have a subscription to Music Prodigy. This is software which allows students to rehearse their parts, take singing quizzes, and learn balance with other parts. It provides immediate feedback and recordings for student assessment. In order to assist with this program, students need to bring in a $5.00 fee by September 15th. Students will sign up for Music Prodigy in class, or they can use the same log-in information created last year. Students must have access to Music Prodigy by September 15th.
