Meet the Teacher

🍎 A little about Miss Patel...I graduated from Clemson University in 2005 with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I am a HUGE Clemson fan!  GO TIGERS!!!!  I began my teaching career in 2005 in Anderson County as a K4 teacher.  In 2008, I received two Masters Degrees in Early Childhood Education.  I have been teaching K4 at A.J. Whittenberg Elementary since the school opened in 2010.  This school year will be my 19th year of teaching - all in K4.  I am very passionate and enthusiastic about teaching K4.  I truly believe K4 is where my heart is!

🍎 On May 11, 2023, I was recognized by the district during National Teacher Appreciation Week.  National Teacher Appreciation Week is a week-long celebration in May in recognition of teachers and the contributions they make to education.  It provides an opportunity for school and district administrators, families, students, and community members to honor these amazing individuals and show their appreciation and support.

🍎 My students’ smiles and hugs, along with the fun they have while learning, motivates me to keep doing what I do every day!
