Mission Statement
The mission of the Westcliffe school counseling program is to provide a data driven intentional program to all students to prepare them to be college and career ready in this ever- changing world. Through equitable access to learning and connections to meaningful experience that cultivates world class knowledge and skills, students will develop good character, leadership, and citizenship. The counseling program empowers students to strive toward academic, career, and social-emotional excellence in collaboration with home and community.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to empower students to become kind, productive citizens and problem solvers by nurturing responsibility, respect, and integrity.
Beliefs
All students can achieve success at their own level and at their own pace .
Providing a positive safe environment, promoting diversity, and celebrating achievements help to ensure student success.
The school counseling program is a collaborative journey of nurturing and encouraging each student to be the best they can be at their developmental level.
I am the school counselor at Westcliffe Elementary.
B.S. Degree in Early Childhood from Erskine College.
M.Ed and Ed.S from Clemson University in Counselor Education.
Ed.D in Educational Leadership with a concentration in School Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands.
