Book Fairs
Scholastic Book Fairs will be held for two weeks in September and for two weeks in April/May. The first week of the fair is reserved for students to visit during class time and create a wish list. During the second week, the fair will be open for parents to shop with their children. Hours will be published in the Dragon Blaze newsletter.
We will also host Dads and Donuts and Moms and Muffins during one book fair of the school year. This is an opportunity for parents to enjoy breakfast and shop at the Book Fair with their students before the school day begins.
Palisades Elementary Library receives 25% cash profit of all sales, in addition to free books and educational materials from Scholastic.

Magazine Sales
Magazine Sales are held in the late winter/ early spring. This is a NON-door-to-door sale! All we ask is that parents help their students fill out the names and addresses of relatives that may be interested in subscribing to or renewing subscriptions for magazines. We will then send out necessary materials to these addresses. These names are used only for this mailing. There is also an option to use email addresses online at http://bit.ly/palisadeselem. See Miss Dibelka for more information. Online orders may be placed year round. When orders are placed, Palisades receives the profits that month.
If parents are interested in subscribing or renewing a subscription, there is a list of magazines available at discounted prices in the packet.
Palisades Elementary Library receives cash profit of 40% of the money spent on magazine subscriptions.
