This page presents the safety considerations for operating a radial arm saw, tips for how to effectively operate a radial arm saw, and the safety quiz (and answers) for the radial arm saw.
The Titan Woodshop has one radial arm saw - a 12" radial arm saw. The radial arm saw is primarily used for cross-cuts (cuts going across the grain). You must always maintain a safety zone of 6" on both sides of the blade, hold the stock securely against the fence, and pull the saw slowly to avoid choking the blade.
