Madi Sides MS, LAT, ATC

Madison Sides (a.k.a Madi) is a nationally certified and Connecticut-licensed Athletic Trainer who has joined the Athletic Training Team at Glastonbury High School in the Spring of 2025. Before becoming an Athletic Trainer she worked at PTSMC in Simsbury as a Patient Care Coordinator and Physical Therapy Aide for 4.5 years. 

Her love of sports began at a very young age and she participated in High School and Club Soccer along with running Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. You can still find her name on the School Record Board at Avon High School for her senior 4x800 team! She continued to participate in sports throughout undergrad via UConn club track and field and intramural volleyball.

Madi received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from UConn in 2021. She then went back to UConn where she received her Masters of Athletic Training in 2024. Throughout her Undergrad and Masters programs, Madi worked with a number of different levels of athletes from High School to D1 UConn athletes. She spent time at Eastern Connecticut State University, Avon High School, UConn Football, UConn Track and Field and UConn Girls Hockey before finishing her final clinical right here at Glastonbury High School. Madi fell in love with Glastonbury High School and the student athletes during this rotation and decided to begin her career here because of this. 

Madi has a passion for helping athletes not only physically, but mentally and socially as well. She believes the best way to approach student athletes is using the three bodies of health method to look at the whole person, rather than focusing on just one piece of the puzzle. Athletic Trainers are more than just tape and exercises and she is committed to providing the highest and most comprehensive level of care for all of the GHS student-athletes.

Madi still lives in Storrs with her boyfriend Matt and their two rescue cats Milo and Nala. They enjoy playing DND with their friends and spending time with their families in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
