Upcoming Events

• October 7, 2026 -Wednesday – FALL BAND AND CHORUS CONCERT, 7:00 p.m. in the MTHS Auditorium – All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Chorus students and 7th/8th grade Band students - see information sheet below for details

• October 10, 2026-Saturday - MTHS Marching Band Invitational, 2:00-7:00 on Malone Field. GHMS music students can get in for free if they are wearing a GHMS music shirt. If they would like to get in for free but do not have a GHMS music t-shirt, please email Mr. Loring (loringe@ghills69.com).

• All concerts and performances for the entire school year can be found on the Music Department Calendar page.  Please look over this list of dates, add them to your family calendar, and check with either director if you have any questions.

Announcements for the week of 10/5

• Please see the Ensemble Expectations page for details about your child's participation in band and chorus. 

• Band students who are not in chorus should have instruments at school on Monday.

• ALL band students should have instruments at school on Tuesday.

• The Germantown Hills Music Booster's Annual Wreath sale begins on Monday 10/5 and runs until Wednesday, 10/21. See this page of the website for details: https://sites.google.com/a/ghills69.com/ghms-music-department/wreath-sale

• All band students should take their instruments home on Friday and find two times to practice for about 20 minutes (less for 6th grade as they do not know that much content yet) over the weekend.
