December 8, 2021 - Wednesday - Pizza Lunch during school lunch - check the bottom of this page for the list of students who qualified. If your child is not on the list and you think they should be, please contact Mr. Loring

December 14, 2021 – Tuesday – HOLIDAY CONCERT, 7:00 p.m. in the GHMS JDS Gym – All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Band and Chorus Students - see information sheet below

Announcements for the week of 12/6/21:

  • EVERYONE

    • Student Helpers are needed to set up for concerts. You DO NOT need to reply and let me know if your child is available. If your child is able to stay, please work that out with your child:

      • 12/7 - Tuesday - after school until about 3:00

      • 12/14 - Tuesday - after school until about 4:00

    • Band students are receiving assignments. Please see the Band Assignments page for details.

  • 5th GRADE BAND:

    • Progress Concert is Tuesday, 12/7. See this page of the website for details.

    • Help is needed setting up for the concert at 5:45 on Tuesday, 12/7. Basketball practices in the JDS gym after school so we cannot set up until practice is done. If your child and/or you are able to come early to set up please email me (loringe@ghills69.com).

  • 6th GRADE BAND:

    • Here is the google classroom code for 6th grade band: bsxfrj4.

    • Percussionists should have their sticks, mallets, method book, and band folder at school on Monday.

    • Every 6th grade band student should have their instrument, method book, and folder at school on Tuesday.

    • Students can leave their instruments and band supplies at school during the week and take them home on Friday. They may also take them home each day if they prefer but this is not required.

  • 7th/8th GRADE BAND

    • Here is the google classroom code for 7th/8th grade band: s44imjr.

    • Every 7th/8th grade student should have their instrument, method book, and folder at school on Tuesday.

    • Jazz Band will meet as usual this week - Tuesday during recess and Thursday before school at 7:15 a.m. See the Jazz Band page for details.
