Georgia Milestones Grade 5 Study/Resource Guide for Students and Parents - The Georgia Milestones Grade 5 Study/Resource Guide for Students and Parents is intended as a resource for parents and students. It contains sample questions and helpful activities to provide an idea of what test questions look like on Georgia Milestones and what the Grade 5 End-of-Grade (EOG) assessment covers. These sample questions are fully explained and tells why each answer is either correct or incorrect.
Georgia Milestones Grade 5 EOG Test Blueprints - These test blueprints are designed to communicate the structure of the Georgia Milestones measures, and are not intended to be used for instructional planning purposes. The blueprints outline the types of items students will encounter on each content area/course test, as well as the number of items and number of points possible (for those tests which include constructed-response items).
Georgia Milestones Grade 5 EOG Assessment Guide - The Georgia Milestones Grade 5 EOG Assessment Guide is provided to acquaint Georgia educators and other stakeholders with the structure and content assessed by the tests. Importantly, this guide is not intended to inform instructional planning. It is essential to note that there are a small number of content standards that are better suited for classroom or individual assessment rather than large-scale summative assessment. While those standards are not included on the tests, and therefore are not included in this Assessment Guide, the knowledge, concepts, and skills inherent in those standards are often required for the mastery of the standards that are assessed. Failure to attend to all content standards within a content area can limit a student’s opportunity to learn and show what he or she knows and can do on the assessments.
Georgia Milestones EOG Content Weights - Grade-level charts provide the approximate weights for domains on each Georgia Milestones Assessment in grade 5. Each Georgia Milestones Assessment is aligned to the state-adopted content standards.
