Remarks (CIE Enquiry About Results/EdExcel Post Results Service)

Please consider your requirements for re-marks before submitting the form below to request a re-mark. Once a re-mark has been sent to the relevant Exam Board it cannot be amended. Once you have submitted the online form we will consider this a definite request and once we have started the process we are unable to cancel the request.

Please ensure that you are familiar with the fees incurred by your request for a re-mark. Once you have submitted the request by completing the re-mark form on this website, you will be responsible for paying the applicable fees (see Examination Fees tab).

All applicable fees should be paid as soon as possible. We reserve the right to request payment before processing your request.

Remarks - Deadlines

Please refer to the Key Dates page for the appropriate deadlines.

All remark requests should be submitted to the Examinations Office (via the online form below) at least three working days before the deadline dates.

Please note: The CIE Priority Re-mark Service is not available to schools outside the UK.

Remarks - Entry Procedures

  • Complete the CIE/EdExcel Remark online application form by clicking on the red button below.
  • Please ensure you state the subject/subject code/component code for all papers you require to be remarked and which level of service you require. Failure to provide the required information will result in a delay to your application and may therefore miss the Examination Board's deadline.
  • Only one application per subject can be made. Please ensure that you request ALL the papers you wish to re-mark for a subject. We are unable to change the request once made.
  • By completing the online form below candidates are agreeing to the charges as highlight in the fee information on this website.
  • You will need to either pay for the re-marks in school or make a bank transfer. Please see the How to Make Payment tab of this website for further information. Please ensure that all payments are referenced "IGCSE EXAMS". Please note that re-marks may not be processed until payment has been made, upon our discretion, so please do not delay payment.
  • Payments must be made before the Remark deadline.
  • Payments made after the deadline may result in the remark NOT being processed.
  • All candidates will receive an email within a few days of making the application confirming that the request is being processed.

All remarks are dealt with by the Exam Boards as soon as they receive them - the length of time for the remark to be completed depends on the service requested and the number of remarks currently being processed by the board.
