The Programme of Inquiry for a school organizes curriculum into six Transdisciplinary Themes. Each level (Kindergarten, Primary, Elementary, and Intermediate) teaches 6 units of inquiry each year, with each being taught over a 6-8 week period of time..
These themes provide IB World Schools with the opportunity to incorporate local and global issues into the curriculum and effectively allow students to “step up” beyond the confines of learning within subject areas.
When children leave QUEST, they will have experienced 42 transdisciplinary units of inquiry in addition to their math units of inquiry and special area units. Click here for more information on units of inquiry.
