JLAB stands for JROTC Leadership & Academic Bowl. JLAB Is a nationally recognized academic competition that was created exclusively for JROTC Cadets. Cadets that participate in JLAB learn the values of citizenship, leadership, academic competition, and college opportunity. JLAB has three phases.

Leadership Test
Leadership Test
The leadership test has a team that includes four cadets and two alternates. The leadership test is primarily focused on the values of citizenship and leadership. The team participating in the leadership test is to pass phase one to go to the next phase and must pass phase two to move to the final phase. All members must be present at the time of the test. The test takes approximately an hour and must be completed in one sitting aswell as taken as a team.
