Our keynote speaker is an active duty Army Colonel who will address the student body providing thoughts on the importance of military service. Trojan Battalion will host the TROJAN SMOKER Inter-service Raider Meet. Schools from South Carolina and North Carolina will be in attendance. In the past, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps JROTCs have particpated providing an opportunity for competition and camraderie.

Trojan Battalion will compete in the JROTC Leadership and Academic Bowl (JLAB) with Cadets from JROTC battalions around the nation. Trojan Battalion is fielding two JLAB teams.

The Trojan Battalion has been invited, for the fourth year in a row, to provide the Color Guard for the Myrtle Beach Bowl at Coastal Carolina University Stadium.

The Trojan Battalion will hold its yearly Change of Command Ceremony where Cadet LTC Tristin Dupie will relinquish command to newly promoted Cadet LTC Pheonix Ferrin.

The Trojan Battalion will participate in the annual Horry Count JROTC Ball at the Spanish Galleon Beach Club in North Myrtle Beach. The Horry County Cadet of the Year will be recognized, and dinner will be served.

The Trojan Battalion will participate in the Horry County JROTC Playcard Field Day. This event is attended by Horry County's nine Army / Navy / Air Force JROTC programs. Events include tug-of-war, trail run, capture the flag, knot tie relay, volleyball and dodgeball.

Trojan Battalion will host the GSF / Loris Archery and Air Rifle Meet. This event culminates in the presentation of the annual Trojan-Lion Battalions Trophy to the winning schools. Cadets will shoot both air rifle and archery with the highest combined team score winning.
Trojan Battalion will host the Annual Awards Ceremony at Green Sea Floyds Middle and High School. Civic awards, battalion awards, and JROTC superlatives will be presented to Cadets to close out the academic year.
Trojan Battalion Cadets will attend the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) summer camp at Fort Jackson, SC. JCLC is a week-long camp where Cadets participate in archery, air rifle, high ropes climbing, a challenge course, land navigation, swimming, canoeing, and rappelling. Cadets live in a Basic Training Army barracks during the camp week.
