The JROTC Ball is an annual event that happens each February around Valentine's Day at the Spanish Galleon in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is a formal event where male cadets wear their ASU but with a white shirt & a bowtie while female cadets wear either prom style dress or their ASUs. The Cadet of the Year is announced at this event. There is a color guard that has the flags of each military branch. There is also a saber team that helps introduce each candidate for Cadet of the Year from each school that attends the ball. Each school is given 20 tickets for 20 cadets to attend the ball.
