PKD in the OC in the media

A break-in and explosion at his Northern California house in 1971 left PKD, in an odd manner, "homeless." That fact and a personal break down in Vancouver after a convention led to PKD's move to Fullerton in 1972 and his residence in Orange County for the next, and last, decade of his life. The Rolling Stone article explores the startling revelations about the break in at PKD's home; the article itself propelled him to greater fame beyond science fiction circles. The OC Weekly and LA Times articles both tell the story of his move to the OC and speak with many of the important figures of his life there. The Daily Titan article describes a recent Santa Ana tribute to Dick, which proceeds a call for a festival this year that has been postponed to some future unknown date....
