Avoid unit overload. The 240 class is the most intensive programming course on the planet Earth. It requires out-of-class programming time equivalent to 6 units of GE. The semester you take 240 is not the semester you should enroll in a boat-load of other units. Protect your own GPA. Don't be a victim of "I took too many units."
The SI instructor for Spring 2023 is Johnson Tong. His email address is jt28@csu.fullerton.edu . He is the owner of the discord server with URL: https://discord.gg/HRW7zF2RGs . I suggest that you soon join the discord server soon after you first read this message. Past experience shows that he will be the bridge from grade F to grade A. In previous courses some students have skipped getting help from the SI instructor thinking that SI is for remedial learners. In assembly programming that paradigm is flipped. Nobody gets through assembly programming without the guidance of Johnson.
All tests are open notes, open books, open software, and open internet. We call these "take-home tests with a limited time period". The time period is usually 1 hour or 2 hours.
