Zoom
Zoom
On August 24, 2026, many students when to class and received half a lecture. Here is the back to that story.
Zoom has two modes of usage: as an app and as a web browser tool. The complete name is "Zoom Workspace". The app is simply a program that manages a zoom client. The other mode of execution is to attach Zoom to a web browser. The advantage of the second mode is that nothing is actually installed in your computer, but rather zoom runs in your web browser. To be ready for class I decided to use the browser mode.
Step 1: Go to this website: us05web.zoom.us/myhome
Step 2: Click on the 3x3 figure of dots; use the profile page
Step 3. There is a pop-up panel on the right side. Select the orange icon "New Meeting"
Step 4. Optional. If the Zoom app was previously installed, it may open an unnecessary page. Close that page
Step 5. Optional. If closing the window in step 5 revealed another page behind it, then close that unnecessary page.
Step 6. Click on "Join from Browser"
Step 7. Communicate to the expected participant to log in to the host using the big integer provided by the host.
Step 8. To share the screen with the audience, the host will click on a green arrow labeled share, and then select the entire screen
Invite most humans to joiin the logged in audience.
