Hello! This is my tenth year teaching here at McSpedden and my thirteenth year teaching in Frisco ISD. This year I am teaching math and science. I also coach the Lone Star Challenge team here at McSpedden. Fifth grade is such an exciting grade and I am looking forward to the upcoming year.
Although I was born here in Texas, I was raised outside of Boston. I went to Bentley College and studied marketing and computer information systems. I moved here in 2000 and my children have all been lucky enough to attend school in Frisco ISD.
I am married to Brent and together we have five children. My oldest Corey graduated from West Texas A&M and is a VP of Operations in Miami, FL, and my daughter Amanda recently taught with me on our fifth grade team! Our daughter Autumn is a ninth grader at Centennial High School and Haven is a eighth grader at Lawler Middle School. We also have a silver lab pup Sadie that is just precious (but a handful)! This year I am lucky enough to be teaching at the same school as my niece Emma Scarbrough in third grade.
I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with all of you. Please let me know if you ever have any concerns or questions. It is my privilege to help to educate and raise your amazing children.
