Weekly Homework
Reading: Students should spend at least 20 minutes reading per night.
Spelling: Students should spend about 10 minutes practicing at home each night to prepare for tests on Fridays.
Multiplication Fact Practice: Students should spend about 5-10 minutes practicing multiplication facts 1-12.
Science: Students should spend at least 3 minutes per night completing their vocabulary Frayer models.

What field trips will 5th grade be attending and what is the cost of each?
We will attend Camp Ray Roberts in Pottsboro and the Plano Symphony Orchestra.
More details on all field trips will come out closer to the actual date of the field trip.
What are the dates for 5th grade Day Camp?
We are attending Camp Ray Roberts in Pottsboro this year for a day camp. The date of the camp is October 2md. More details coming soon!
What are the 5th grade STAAR dates for 2024?
Fifth graders will take three STAAR tests this year. Reading is April 14th, Math is April 21st and Science is April 23rd.
