Hey 5th Grade Families!
Next week in Math Class, we will be distributing a FANTASTIC study resource to bring home each day as we get closer to our math STAAR exam on April 21st! There will be different questions and quick assignments related to each TEKS standard, so your student will be able to really focus in on their struggle spots, and get even more practice to excel in what they already know! Students can complete this packet, or choose to test out of a unit to earn a reward if they’re ready for more of a challenge. We will be giving students time on Fridays to test out of the standard. If they don’t earn a 100 on the first attempt, they can try again the following Friday after reviewing the material they missed. This will be a great way to encourage students to practice at home, so that they can be fully prepared as we get to test day! Your students have been working SO incredibly hard these last few weeks, and we are so abundantly proud of them.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership, and be on the lookout for these books!
With joy,
Ms. Frohardt & Mrs. Roberts
