Behavior Plan

Gunstream Expectations:

Be Respectful.     Be Responsible.     Be Safe.

Fifth Grade Expectations:

1. I will be respectful to my teachers, peers, and myself with my words, my actions, and my thoughts.

2. I will follow directions the first time.

3. I will show self-control at all times.

4. I will come to school and class prepared with all work and supplies.

Positive Rewards:

• Positive email or phone call home

• Points received for positive behavior = rewards given

• Behavior reward parties

• Whole class rewards

• Free Seat Fridays during lunch

Behavior:

Minor Infractions

Examples include:

• Inappropriate language or behavior

• Misuse of materials/equipment

• Disrespect

Possible consequences:

• Verbal warning or conference

• Parent communication

• Loss of privilege

Major Infractions

Examples include:

• Threats

• Violence

• Stealing

• Destruction of property

• Persistent misconduct or noncompliance  

Possible consequences:

• Parent communication

• Parent conference

• Office referral
