Write a six-word theme statement for the poem
Writing Assignment: Poem inspired by “Ring Out, Wild Bells” in journal (SOL 8.7 e) - this will be a very open-ended activity. Using Tennyson’s poem as a model, please write a poem of at least seven lines about what you want to “ring out” and “ring in” in the year 2017. You may use a similar structure to Tennyson’s poem, or you may choose to write in another poetic form, such as an acrostic. Use rhyme and repetition.
