HEALTH AND SAFETY
Planning for TEKSCon 2025
We want all our attendees and members to be healthy and safe. TCMPC holds the health and safety of its members, partners, and visitors as its top priority when hosting in-person events. We strive to lead the way to student success, and our commitment to creating a safe environment comes first.
TCMPC will abide by city, county, and state health and safety orders in which the event is taking place, as well as take precautions to protect those in attendance.
Please read the following information carefully to be best prepared to attend our in-person TEKSCon and to ensure you align with our recommendations and requirements.
Before You Arrive
Before arriving in person to TEKSCon 2025 in San Antonio, we strongly encourage attendees, exhibitors, and vendors to:
Complete a personal health check. If you have a fever or are experiencing any symptoms of illness, please stay home.
Ensure you will have any medications, thermometers, and personal protective equipment needed for the duration of the event.
Consider self-testing before arrival, as recommended by the CDC.
Healthy Habits for Attendees and Exhibitors
While attending TEKSCon 2025 in person, we highly encourage all in-person attendees, exhibitors, and vendors to:
Complete daily self-health checks.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap for at least 20 seconds before and after eating, after using the restroom, and after physical contact.
Sanitize hands often by taking advantage of the provided hand sanitizing stations.
Limit physical contact with other attendees.
Leave the area if you begin feeling ill or running a fever.
Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center
The number one priority of the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center (HBGCC) is the health and safety of its guests, employees, and partners. Physical Distancing
During TEKSCon 2025, TCMPC will be limiting the number of attendees per session room. However, there will be some spaces in which physical distancing is not possible. When physical distancing is not possible, choose another session, use a flexible space in the area to distance yourself from other attendees, or proceed according to your own comfort level.
