Registration

What is the cost to attend?

TEKSCon registration pricing follows a Pricing Schedule throughout the spring and summer and will change over time. You may secure the lowest price for TEKSCon by registering as early as possible.

Where should POs be addressed?

Purchase orders should be made out to Region 13 Education Service Center.

I can no longer attend. Can I send someone else in my place?

Yes. For swaps in registration, please contact the Region 13 Education Service Center Customer Experience team at questions@esc13.net

Group Registration

How do I register a group?

Please consult the Region 13 Education Service Center E-Campus help page on How to Register for a Workshop.

Are there discounts for large groups?

For groups of 10 or more, districts may register at a discounted rate. Please submit the Group Registration Contact Form for more information.

Where do I send the Group Registration Form?

Group Registration Forms are to be submitted to teksconference@esc13.txed.net. Please keep in mind, districts are ultimately responsible for registering their staff on time to receive their discount.

Health and Safety Protocols

What are TEKSCon's health and safety protocols for in-person meetings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic?

We want all our attendees and partners to be healthy and safe. TEKS Resource System holds the health and safety of its member districts, partners, and event attendees as its top priority when hosting in-person events. We strive to lead the way to student success, and our commitment to creating a safe environment comes first.

TEKS Resource System will abide by city, county, and state health and safety orders in which the event is taking place, as well as take precautions to protect those in attendance.

Please read the TEKSCon Health Protocols to prepare for the 2024 conference.

Is there a possibility that TEKSCon 2024 will be cancelled or be conducted virtually?

At this time, TEKSCon will be presented in-person. If, for reasons we can not control, the event is cancelled, we will make every effort to communicate with attendees the status of the conference. Payments made via credit card will be refunded per Region 13 Education Service Center's procedures.

Payment Policy

What form of payment is accepted?

Credit card and Purchase Orders (PO) may be used as payment for attendance.

When will I receive my invoice?

You will receive an invoice for your attendance upon the conclusion of the conference and checking at the registration desk. Please do not send checks and payment early. They will not be processed.

Where should my POs be addressed?

Purchase orders should be made out to Region 13 Education Service Center.

Presenters

Do my presentation materials need to be ready in order to submit a presentation for consideration?

No. Presentation proposals may be developed prior to the conference. We can not review every material prior to the conference. For acceptance, prospective presenters should consider including as much information in their presentation abstract to accurately communicate the details of their presentation.

How do I receive complimentary registration?

Presenters who commit to conducting at least two presentation sessions will receive complimentary registration for TEKSCon.

Do presenters have to register for TEKSCon?

Presenters who do not qualify for complimentary registration must register for the conference themselves.

Workshops and Sessions

Where can I see the program?

The TEKSCon 2024 program is available for preview. Gain full access to the app features including network opportunities by downloading the Whova app, searching for TEKSCon 2024 and joining the event. Please sign-up using the email used at registration.

Do I need to pre-register to attend a presentation?

No, registered attendees do not need to pre-register to attend a presentation. We will not reserve space for attendees. Seating for sessions is first come first serve.

Housing and Travel

How do I reserve a hotel room?

TEKS Resource System has partnered with Visit San Antonio to secure housing blocks at the GSA per diem rate. Orchid Events has provided a hotel passkey site to manage hotel booking and block requests. Check the Housing and Travel page this winter for details on booking your lodging.

How many rooms can I reserve at one time?

Up to ten rooms may be booked at once. Consider submitting a block request for booking more than ten hotel rooms.

I have a large group, can we be accommodated?

Yes. Submit a Block Request on the hotel passkey site for blocks larger than ten rooms. 

How do I make changes to my existing hotel reservation?

Visit the Hotel Passkey site with your acknowledgement number to make changes.

Exhibitors

What is the price to exhibit?

Exhibit booths are priced based on size. Exhibitors have an option of two booth sizes:

How do I reserve exhibit space?

Submit an Exhibitor Request Form to request space at TEKSCon 2024.

How do I register my booth personnel?

We understand staffing can be difficult to determine until show day nears. Upon confirmation of attendance, exhibitors will be issued instructions for registering their personnel. Exhibitor will then be able to reassign and swap registration as needed with the help of the ESC 13 Customer Experience team.

What is the cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy and timeline will be posted in the winter.

Sponsors

Where can I view available sponsorship opportunities?

There are many sponsorship opportunities to support TEKSCon. Contact TEKSCon personnel and review the Conference Prospectus.

Certificate of Attendance

How do I get a copy of my certificate of attendance and credit hours for attending TEKSCon?

Certificates of Completion and surveys will become available after your registration status has been changed to Passed. Accessing your E-Campus certificate of completion is really quick and easy.

1.      Sign in to your E-Campus account at http://ecampus.esc13.net. This is the same account you used to register for your event.

2.      In the left menu, under My Learning Portfolio, click My Transcript.

3.      Locate the event for which you wish to access your certificate. Look to the right of the event name.

4.      If you see "Take Post Workshop Survey" you must first complete the survey to get your certificate.

5.      Once the survey is complete, return to My Transcript where you will now see a Certificate button.

Future Dates

Do you have the dates for future TEKSCon events?

TEKSCon 2024 will be presented at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center July 9-11, 2024.

TEKSCon 2025 will be presented at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center June 5-7, 2025.
