Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • Almost done. Only need more system testing and mass production.

Accomplishments from Previous Week

• • GUI

    • Switch to Sublime Text 3

    • Figured out multiprocessing

    • Working on writing/appending data files. Need to figure out global variables. 

      • Object variable?

    • alternatives to time sleep

  • Talked to Steve Roberts

    • Transistor

    • Calibration

  • Mechanical Design

    • Finished printing the housing for glass tubes and photo interrupters

    • assembled the glass tubes with connectors.

• • fully assemble the system and make some minor modification.

  • Need to know length of wire - done

    • BNC connector on wires from the board, then connect bnc to bnc cable to desired length

  • Will need to come in to try GUI on sponsor's computer 

    • Take out "get data" button

    • Add warning message that data will be lost

    • Pause and restart experiment, collecting data
