Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • Currently working on selecting materials for second full scale test

    • Seat connections being machined by Scripps machine shop

    • Spreader bar to be made in house by the team

  • Full scale test questions:

    • Can a weighted spreader bar disrupt the swing enough to limit height while still keeping swinging intuitive for user? (fabric replacement?)

    • Is a straight rod connection enough for a seat connection? Will it be balanced enough for user? Will a "Y" design be better?

    • Is a spreader bar needed for shorter swings to prevent twisting?
