Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Most of milling/cutting titanium tubes completed.
Completed stress, frequency, and fatigue analyses.
Assembly of trike components begun.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Finished fixtures to hold titanium tubes during milling process. (Ved & Nicholas)
Finished drawings of tubes with correct lengths and angles. (Angelica & Nicholas)
Began cutting titanium stock to correct length and milling for perfect fit between tubes. (Ved, Sean, & Angelica)
Got Bill Holland 0.875 cm titanium so that he could bend them. (Sam)
Finished fatigue study of optimal lay-up configuration. (Sam & Sean)
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Finish cutting and milling titanium tubes. (Angie, Ved, Nick & Sean)
Finish tack welding the front assembly and boom. (Sam)

Use more realistic forces when accounting for displacement. (2/21/17 in person) Analysis recomputed and found to displace very minimally; i.e. ~7 mm.

Outsource production of certain trike areas to machine shops in the area so that manufacturing of tubes can be done in parallel. (2/21/17 in person) Rather than outsource to independent shops, the team reached out to Bill Holland and was thus able to mill out most of the tubes necessary for assembly within a single day.
