Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.

• • All subassemblies fully designed, most built, minor modifications needed for optimal functioning

  • Code works well to drive each independent motor, now integrating in actual control logic

Accomplishments from Previous Week

• • Conveyor belt built and motorized

  • Folding Mechanism jaws attempted to motorize (simple fix inbound, interior mounting hole dimensions were incorrect)

  • Impulse Sealer Housing built and attempted to motorize (simple fix inbound, gear ratio not currently enough)

  • Dispensers motorized

  • Cutter production begun, prototype built, issues categorized and fixes inbound

  • All motors now successfully driven and all subassemblies sans cutter have been tested with their motors, fixes for issues are inbound

  • Impulse Sealer Housing attached to Conveyor Belt, along with Folding Mechanism

  • Brainstorming mounting techniques for dispensers

    • Finish modifications to Driving Solutions for Impulse Sealer Housing and Folding Mechanism (Griffin)

    • Finish assembling all subassemblies into one final assembly (Griffin)

    • Insert Impulse Sealer Circuit into Housing (Ali)

    • Test full system and work on optimization (Jerry)

    • Make sure cutter works reliably (Dai)
