Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Base Conceptual Design Created
Working out some details to clarify in CAD (how different components interact or leave space for eachother etc)
Trying to parse how to exactly implement the Impulse Sealer (see Risks and Areas of Concern below)
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Completed Individual Component Analyses

Recover from Spring Break
Finalize our Conceptual Design
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Buy components for assembly- Jerry
Build product dispenser- Jerry
Build insert dispenser- Ali
Make more cohesive CAD deisgn, integrating all known components- Griffin
Start Report Draft- All
Will assign different parts to team members later on in the week, after Presentation, some already started

Sponsor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Liked 3 seam idea (4/7)
Made us consider dispensing the insert and product separately (4/7)
Reminded us the process 'does not need to be fully automated' (but would like it to be, all things considered) (4/7)
Gave us various ideas to work with for separate dispensers (4/7 and 4/9)
Pleased with our Risk Reduction Powerpoint and like the direction we're heading (4/7)
Sponsor will pursue finding a local company through his contacts who can provide 4mil x 20" x 100+" sheets
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Risk Reduction Presentation was 'high B' level work (4/4)
Trim down the fat to leave just the heart of the presentation (4/4)
Good to divide up designs into sections of our size, accomplish the 'appropriate' amount of Individual Component Analysis based on how big of an analysis we are undertaking (4/4)

Risks and Areas of Concern
The Impulse Sealer Design- Individual Component Analysis was helpful in understanding nuances, but finding way to implement appropriately into automated design is concerning, given the high levels of automation desired.
Considering embedding part of sealers in Manipulation bed and thermally insulating them (likely), or bringing sealers in at a further point on the assembly line (less likely)
