Wheelchair has been cut.
Decided on ASTM A606 steel to build the new parts with.
Downloaded new parts into programmable dxf files.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Finish machining the rest of the parts for the cut wheelchair, and assemble the chair. This will be done by all team members, with members coming into the shop each day when they have time.

Scott said he would rather not get new batteries until his insurance replaces them for him, which will be over the summer. We will test the current batteries to see how much they have decayed, so that we know if performance issues during testing are due to the batteries, or to the chair.
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
It was suggested that we make sure we have a factor of safety comparable to, or above the original chair design for all loading conditions. In addition, we were to make sure the deflection was not too high, as it could cause issues with vibration. We have done so with our newest design.
Risks and Areas of Concern
At this point, the main question is how the chair will actually perform with the new chassis. We have done lots of analysis to try and ensure that it works, but until it is actually tested, we won’t know for sure.
