Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Tunnel body complete except for [contingency] sliding doors
on 5/31/15, sponsor has decided he wants the sliding doors for the apparatus
Currently using one projector instead of two
2nd projector adds very little coverage currently and greatly increases difficulty of optical calibration
FINAL DESIGN REVIEW
scheduled for wednesday 6/10 of FINALS week
sponsor would like to run some more tests before presenting, and his lab meets on wednesdays, best date is 6/10
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Walls of tunnel projection coated
Projection unit calibrated
Arduino PWM control for fans
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Research and order best material to seal doors (felt, rubber, etc.) (Elliott)
Purchase and begin fabrication of ceiling main acrylic (Harry)
Plan and execute hooks (or other mechanism) to keep doors hoisted up when unused (Melissa)
Clean up Arduino code (possibly make usable with sponsor's separate program) and make system more user-friendly (Emilio)
Fabricate ceiling (all)
Create skeleton for Final Presentation (Elliott)
Complete and practice for final presentation (all)

In person 5/30/15
Try using one projector with setup
We are currently calibrating our optical system using one projector
in person 5/31/15
use sliding doors instead of carbon dioxide immersion system
will just blow carbon dioxide through fans to minimize usage (sponsor is confident will work)
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Talk to sponsor about taking apparatus to poster session
under consideration, would be nice to keep it at his office, because he would not like to recalibrate. But if necessary
Begin planning contingency ceiling
we decided to use mesh for each sliding door
currently deciding on how to fabricate the ceiling (it is large and a bit more complex than our current ceiling)
