Here are some of the things we talked about with Steve and Dr. T.
Steve:
Data sheet: 1.5 V, for voltage regulator, a 10 V output requires 11.5 V from battery
5-10 W resistors
Arduino has 14 I/O pins
Look into Mega Arduino
Cyan 350 mA
1A current for MOSFET
IRLZ34 part number, Digi-Key, provides 10-15 A
Logic MOSFET
5V input on gate = fully turned on (at least 3V)
voltage driven
10V voltage regulator
max current flow = 1A
put in parallel
Dr. T:
Expand more on goals for progress report
Programmable power supply, gives feedback so you know how much power is actually going in
Oscillator chips, look into how high of a frequency the arduino can do
Arduino programmable frequency
Optical meter
Adjustable voltage regulator
