Robotics EV3
The Lego EV3 Robotics is an Educational App used on the Google Chromebooks.... however software downloads for home use can be found here:

Students in this robotics series learn the basics of coding/programing, design/problem solve, systems as well as an introduction to mechanical engineering. Students learn construction, gears, motors, sensors, simple machines, algorithms and programing language concepts.
We will think like engineers and enjoy the fun of the work we do.
Students work in pairs to construct and learn robotics. Each group is responsible to contribute with each others skills learned and complete tasks assigned.
Tasks to include lessons on:
Rules
Expectations
Instructions
Robotics
Code
Construction
Communications
Ultrasonics
Loop systems
Wait and tasks
Using light/color
Battle-Bot task
In a typical class day students learn an aspect of the Ev3 then have work time. Work time is normally 2/3 of class time, with instruction and cleanup taking up the remainder of time in a typical class. At the classes end most days will end with a brief of the class by the instructor.
TIAFWD is an acronym that is used at times as well as TTFIO... If you do not know what these acronyms are you should try to figure it out because if you do not know them students would be hard pressed to have a full work day without. BTW they are in the acronym section of my webpage lol.
Root Cause Analysis... Why, why, why, why..... WHY?
