Remote Learning tasks for students isolating at home:
READING
WRITING ABOUT READING
Mini Lesson:
Look at the Writing About Reading prompts. Choose one you would like to work on today.
Main Activity
Independent Reading of a fiction text for at least 30 minutes - use a book from home or find one on Epic! Books.
Create a Reader's Notebook Entry about the book you read, using one of the Writing About Reading prompts.

Then do one of these options:
More independent reading
Work on your reading goal
Create a new Reader's Notebook Entry

Main Activity:
Choose one of your writing pieces from this week to re-read and edit...
OR
Do a short free writing piece, then go back over it to edit...

DIVISION SPEED DRILL
Open the Maths Worded Problems PDF - print it, or just view the questions on your screen.
Choose 5 (or more!) worded problems to solve - copy them onto your page (or print them and stick them in) then solve them.
Make sure you show your working out!
